HDL understand that most of our customer’s designs will change at various points of the prototype process and provide a flexible , fast-turnaround service to ensure that Engineering Change Notification requirements are implemented as quickly as possible.

Common examples of ECN projects are –

• Firmware upgrade – on receipt of new customer firmware , HDL will reprogram the firmware device either off or on-board via re- programming hardware or via USB or JTAG port if available
  
  
• Hardware upgrade – on receipt of new BOM instructions , HDL will replace any PCB device or connector which has been re-specified , including IC conversions ( lifting pins , adding passive components)
  
  
• Raw PCB Upgrade – a wide number of services are offered in order to upgrade rawcard PCB’s including wire-adds , track deletion , drilling , edge / corner repairs, Gold Leaf repair
